Rebecca is an Employment Partner in the Business and Finance Group and joined Ince and Co in October 2016 following over 20 years with in a leading regional law firm where she was Head of Employment and led the Travel Sector Team.

Whilst Rebecca has a varied client base she has worked extensively in the travel and aviation sectors with European airlines, global tour operators and suppliers to the sectors. Clients include sector membership organisations, travel technology companies and Rebecca also provides support to senior executives on an individual basis.

Her work covers all areas of employment law including providing support on contract and policy frameworks, Tribunal representation, employee relations issues, advising on company restructuring, TUPE and exit arrangements. Rebecca develops and delivers in house training to organisations on employment law topics and performance and behaviour in the workplace.

Advice and support is provided with an emphasis on a “can do” approach whilst minimising financial, reputational and disruption risk.

Recent experience includes:

>  Providing training to over 300 individuals on a company’s Behavioural Code of Conduct

>  Speaking at ABTA’s 2 Day Travel Law workshop

>  Supporting a voluntary severance programme for a large number of pilots

>  Providing advice on the employment impacts of the merger of two travel companies 

>  Advising on the implications of the acquisition of a company in administration and ensuring the purchase strategy minimised risks for the purchaser

>  Advising both companies and individuals in the travel and aviation sector on exit arrangements 

>  Providing National Minimum Wage advice, including advice on National Minimum Wage in EU countries
