We have been involved in the development of floating production and storage since the first floating production storage and offtake (FPSO) unit in the 1970s. We have worked with all of our clients as technology evolved and were at the forefront of the developments in floating gas.
We advise on all aspects of floating storage, gas and power units, including:
We assist with the structuring and negotiation of LNG shipment and charterparty agreements and tendering arrangements for the acquisition of LNG carriers for project trains. We do the same in respect of FSRUs as well as conversion or operation and maintenance contracts and terminal/mooring arrangements.
Ince & Co’s leading LNG practice has a track record of successfully advising companies in the maritime and oil and gas industries.
We regularly advise and assist with the drafting and qualification of FPSO construction and sale contracts, operational contracts and contracting arrangements such as framework and call-off. In addition, we deal with the subsea elements including design, installation and hook-up contracts and advise on the division of responsibility and risk.
