If you are genuinely interested in doing an LLM, then you should do so. While an LLM, may, in some cases, be an indicator of an individual candidate’s aptitude, it will never be a determinative factor in the selection process.
Your application form asks for two academic referees, would you accept a non-academic referee instead?
No. We only accept academic referees, even if you have not been in education for some time. This is because we are interested in your academic ability. Not providing two academic referees will slow down your application considerably.
Do you consider applications from candidates with degrees from countries outside the UK?
Yes but you will need to apply to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for a certificate of academic standing and complete the GDL and LPC. Further information regarding how to qualify as a Solicitor in England and Wales can be found on the SRA's website (www.sra.org.uk).
Do we employ paralegals?
Yes. If you would be interested in a paralegal position please send a CV to recruitment@incelaw.com.
