Anna joined Ince & Co in London in 2006. She handles commercial disputes arising under a variety of commercial contracts including contracts for carriage of goods, charterparties, shipbuilding contracts, ship management contracts, sale and purchase contracts and insurance policies.

Her expertise as a litigator extends beyond maritime disputes. Since moving to Dubai in 2010, Anna has guided clients based in the UAE and abroad in various disputes in the Middle East before the UAE courts including the DIFC Courts. She advises on all aspects of debt recovery, security and enforcement including attachments and ship arrests.

She also represents clients in cases before English courts and handles international arbitrations in London and the UAE conducted both ad hoc and under the rules of LMAA, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC and ADCCAC.

On the non-contentious side, Anna assists clients in drafting their standard terms and conditions for sale and purchase contracts, charterparties (including charterparties for the offshore industry), policy wordings and other commercial agreements. She also advises clients on regulatory and compliance issues including sanctions.

Anna regularly contributes to firm’s legal updates as well as to external publications and delivers tailored training to client’s legal and commercial teams. Anna is also a founding member of the AWEE (Association of Women in Energy in the Emirates).
